This function also helps tourists feel less anxious about long waitlists and ticket availability, especially around the holidays.
Paytm claims that this function increases consumer convenience by suggesting other train booking alternatives from different nearby boarding stations, which raises the likelihood of receiving a confirmed ticket.

Here’s how to book a confirmed train ticket using Paytm Guaranteed Seat Assistance step-by-step instructions:
- Get the Paytm app open.
- Look for trains that depart from the location you want to go.
- You will see the ‘Alternative Station’ option if the selected train ticket is on a waiting.
- Examine your alternatives for tickets from adjacent alternative stations.
- Select and reserve your tickets from the boarding station of your choice to the location of your trip.
Paytm informs consumers that they may use UPI to pay for rail ticket purchases without incurring any payment gateway fees. On the Paytm app, users can also view the PNR status and the current operating status of trains. Paytm is launching its trip Carnival Sale from October 27 to November 5 and is providing many discounts on trip reservations.
During the Travel Carnival Sale, budget-conscious travelers may save 10% on international tickets and 15% on domestic flights on major airlines including IndiGo, Vistara, Air India, Air India Express, SpiceJet, Star Air, and Akasa. Bookings booked during the sale period are the only ones eligible for these special discounts.
Additionally, customers are not charged any convenience fees to take advantage of bank offerings from ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, RBL Bank, and HSBC Bank. Seniors, students, and members of the armed forces can all receive special discounted rates.
