Ghaziabad Man, Who Went Out For Grocery Shopping Amid Lockdown, Returns Home With Wife

In a bizarre incident, a man from Sahibabad, who went out under the pretext of getting groceries, came back home with a wife. To add to the hilarity of the incident, his mother denied her entry into the house when she was made aware of the unexpected wedding she wasn’t even invited to.

The mother then also went on to file a complaint against her son at the police station. The incident was reported by news agency ANI.

“I had sent my son to do the grocery shopping today, but when he returned, he came back with his wife. I am not ready to accept this marriage,” a teary-eyed mother told ANI.

In another bizarre revelation, the son told ANI that he had married the woman two months ago. The wedding took place at an Arya Samaj Mandir in Hardwar. The wedded couple is now hoping to get a marriage certificate soon once the lockdown is lifted.

Guddu’s decision to bring his wife home was prompted by the lockdown. Savita, his wife, was apparently asked to vacate the rented accommodation in Delhi she was staying at due to the lockdown.

However not that the mother has diened them entry into the house, the Sahibabad police have asked the landlord in Delhi to let them stay at the rented place.
