On Thursday, the Union Health Ministry said that still, 50 percent of people do not wear a mask. Additionally, as per the study while 64 percent of the people who do wear masks, do not cover the nose.
Interacting with media, health ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said that 8 states in the country still have over 1 lakh active cases and 9 states have between 50,000 – 1 lakh active cases, and 19 states with 50,000 active cases.
