As you opened the ‘Twitter’ today you might have seen ‘Bose’ popping up the top 10 trends. Well, to be clear it’s not related in any way to Indian nationalist Subhas Chandra Bose. Neither it’s in relation to actor ‘Rahul Bose’ who was trending due to his ‘Banana tweet’ last year.
As you got an idea by the feature image it was related to the popular audio equipment brand ‘Bose‘. A video of a man was going viral on social media who was demanding ‘free masks’ from government. The man who had his Bose ‘headphones’ around his neck was blaming the government for not distributing free masks amidst COVID-19 threat.
The Twitteratis took the man under the hammer. People started commenting that if one can afford “high priced” headphones can’t he buy a face mask. Here is what the netizens have to say:
On a larger scale, it is not an issue of affording or freebies. Talking about a whole there are many people like “slum-dwellers” who really can’t afford a mask. These people are equally under threat of the COVID-19.
For those who can afford black marketing and hoarding has made it inaccessible. In such a scenario the government can step in and make the distributions. It’s the responsibility of both the citizens and people and thus, people should also step in to take precautions.
Let’s us know what’s your take on this? Meanwhile, take all precautions against COVID-19.
