Himachal Pradesh Extends Lockdown Till 30 June In Affected Districts

Lockdown their extensions and restrictions are the new normals as a result of the pandemic. As India enters the top 10 nations in terms of the number of cases states who were getting some control in terms of cases are witnessing a rise. Himachal Pradesh is one such state.

And taking the situation into consideration the state has extended the lockdown till 30th June. However, not the entire state but 2 affected districts would be under lockdown beyond 31st May (the end of national lockdown 4.0). The order, however, allows all districts to extend the lockdown till June 30 if needed.

The districts which as of now would be under lockdown till the end of June would be  Hamirpur and Solan. The state has so far recorded 223 cases of the deadly coronavirus. Out of these 4 deaths have taken place. 63 peoples in the state have said to be recovered.

On Sunday the Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray hinted at lockdown 5.0 in the state. Maharashtra is the worst-hit state in India due to COVID-19. The state has over 52, 600 cases, and 1,695 deaths. As India is clocking record cases since the past few days entering the top 10 national lockdown 5.0 is not a distant thing.
