You might have seen scenes of outer space in the movies but what about shooting in the real space. Well, these visuals would soon be a part of Tom Cruise starter feature film. Yes, the Hollywood star is working on a project where the shooting of the movie would be done in outer space.
American space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration aka NASA confirmed the news on Tuesday. The shooting would take place at the International Space Station which is a space station in low Earth orbit.
“NASA is excited to work with @TomCruise on a film aboard the @Space_Station!“, tweeted Jim Bridenstine NASA’s administrator. This would be the first film to be shot in real outer space. Recently news also broke out that Tom was working with Tesla and SpaceX entrepreneur Elon Musk to make what would be the first feature film to be shot in space. NASA’s confirmation now clarifies the air from that.
“We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make @NASA’s ambitious plans a reality“, said Jim in another tweet. However, no clarifications on this have been received from the side of the actor.
