Replying to the remarks of Congress leader, ‘Rahul Gandhi’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at it. Speaking in the ‘Loksabha’ on Motion of Thanks on the President’s address PM Modi responded to Gandhi’s remarks.
Recently in an election rally in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi said that the youth would beat the PM with ‘Danda’ (stick/baton). Taking a jibe at it the PM said that he would become ‘Danda-proof’.
PM said, ” I realize it’s a difficult task, so it can take six months. I’ll take this time to raise the frequency of my Surya namaskars and grow a stronger back to face the sticks”. I’ve been so used to abuses in the last 20 years, I’ve become gaali-proof. Now I’ll become danda-proof“, added the PM.
In Loksabha on Thursday PM Modi talked about a whole lot of issues from CAA to abrogation of Article 370. During his speech, he took to the opposition and accused them of causing disruption in the name of CAA and NRC. The PM also gave an indirect reference to ‘Shaheen Bagh‘.
