In a first of its kind incidence, a Lesbian couple from United Kingdom (U.K.) carried the same baby in both of the wombs. This unique ‘shared motherhood’ was made possible through the in vitro fertilization process.
28 years old Jasmine Francis-Smith gave birth to a baby boy two months ago where the egg was incubated through the in vitro fertilization process in the womb of her 30 years old partner Donna.

The egg was incubated in Donna’s womb for 18 hours and then transferred to Jasmine’s womb for the rest of the pregnancy and birth
