Income Tax Recruitment 2022: Official notification is issued by the Income Tax Department that the process has been initiated for recruiting “Senior Private Secretaries”. Candidates of all the states who are interested and eligible can apply before April 13. The application process started on February 12 and will be continued for 60 days. Total Number of Vacancies- 34
For the locations– “Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Raipur, New Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, Allahabad, Jabalpur, Chennai, Kolkata, Patna, Guwahati, Cuttack, Ranchi, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Indore, Surat and Cochin.”
- To hold the permanent post in the Income Tax Department, candidates should have served 3 years holding analogous post in the parent cadre with specified pay grade given in official notification.
- Should have the English Shorthand typing speed of 120 wpm.
- Basic knowledge of computers is a must, such as XL, Microsoft Office Page maker software etc.

For the candidate applying for this exam, the maximum age limit is 56 years.
Candidates selected for Senior Private Secretaries as Group B Gazetted with the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with the grade pay Rs.4800, since revised to Rs.47600-Rs.151100 per statue.
Applicants will be selected on the basis of deputation, and after selection, they will be appointed across India in a group of triangles.
