Since there is a question on the smoothness of the process, the tax filing process often gets stuck due to some reason which is majorly a missing document or information.

Such intimations from the Income Tax Department shall also be there when they need to inform the taxpayer about any refund dues or more.

The taxpayer shall also be informed in case the process gets paused midway which could be for any reason. The major reason for such a pause is a missing document which may be unavailable at the point of filing or the taxpayer might have forgotten about it.

We must note that ITR filing does not just include the process of submitting the return but the taxpayers also need to verify their returns which makes the process multifold. You will be glad to learn that the verification process can be completed both online and offline.

Online ITR Process
