Even after 2 phases of it India would continue on with the 3rd. Yes, we are talking about the world’s largest evacuation mission that India is carrying on amidst the pandemic. The Vande Bharat Mission would have a phase 3. The Union Civil Aviation minister made an announcement in this regard.
Phase 3 would start from June 11. And this time flights would go to the worst affected country U.S and it’s neighbor Canada. A total of 70 flights have added to phase 3 of the mission. These flights would take off between 11-30 June to repatriate Indians stranded abroad.
The Vande Bharat mission which began on 7th May would complete 1month this week. Foreign nationals and valid visa holders can also book seats on these outbound flights. In phase 164 flights bought 14,800 Indians home from 12 countries. In phase 2 149 flights bought back 30,000 Indians.
