Here are all the records that were broken

Put on to bat first by Bangladesh, the visitors were quick to dismiss the openers Rohit Sharma (2) and Shikhar Dhawan (19). Thereafter, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer toyed with Bangladesh bowling to add 59 runs for the third wicket.

Consisting of 5 sixes, this was Iyer’s maiden T20I half-century. KL Rahul (52) slammed his sixth career T20I fifty.

Dhawan’s 19 in the first innings took him past 1,500 runs in T20I mark. The southpaw is now only the fifth batsman to achieve the feat.
