India Women vs England: Shafali Verma Makes Place In ODI and Test Squads With Pacer Shikha Pandey

On Friday, BCCI announced the Indian senior women squad for only ODI, Test match, and T20 series against England. As expected the in-form opener Shafali Verma makes a place in test and ODI squads. Also, the senior pacer Shikha Pandey called back for all the important tours ahead of the 50-over World Cup. Previously, Shikha Pandey failed to make a place in the home series against South Africa in March this year.

Mithali Raj has been appointed as a captain for both the ODI and Test series, while in T20 Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the India Women cricket team. If we talk about the wicket-keeper, Indrani Roy and Taniya Bhatia have named as the two wicketkeeper-batters for the England tour. 

Ramesh Powar has been appointed as a newly-appointed coach. The former India off-spinner replaced WV Raman in the position on Thursday.
