Indian Born Arvind Krishna To Become The CEO Of America’s IBM

In what comes as another proud moment for India, International Business Machines (IBM) has announced that the head of its cloud business Arvind Krishna, will take over as the CEO of the IT company from April 2020. Post his induction as the CEO, he will become the fourth Indian-born to lead a prominent US tech company alongside Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Google’s Sundar Pichai and Adobe’s Shantanu Narayen.

Krishna, 57, is an IIT Kanpur graduate and has a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. IBM also said Red Hat (a child company to IBM) CEO, James Whitehurst, will become its president. IBM is 108 years old IT company based in America.
