Indian Railways Has Changed Rules: Read Now

Indian Railways has decided to implement new rules for making journey more comfortable. Now you cannot play loud music while travelling in train. Passengers cannot even talk loudly on their phones. Both these actions will attract strict actions from railway staff on board.

Train staff will be put on the knife. If a passenger complaints then Indian Railways staff on board will be held responsible. The new rules have come because Ministry of Railways has been receiving lots of complaints like this. The Railway Ministry decided to address the issue for convenience of passengers.

Railway Ministry has said that it will be duty of RPF, Coach Attendants, Catering Vendors and Ticket Checkers to ask people to maintain order and do not disturb others.

The news has been confirmed by a Western Railway Official. As per the report a special drive was arranged by Indian Railways. On board railway staff counseled people about the general etiquettes for the convenience of other passengers. Passengers were asked to use their earphones for listening to music and talk softly on their phones.

Under new rules, Indian Railways has also addressed people who travel in large groups. They will not be allowed to talk till late night. All lights in the coaches will be turned off after 10 PM except for night light. Any passenger that will not comply with the rule, have to suffer consequences as per Railway Act provisions.
