The most awaited nine days festival of Navratri has started which gives us the chance to celebrate the victory of Maa Durga over evil and worship her nine forms. During these nine days, many people abstain from eating non-veg foods or consuming alcohol. That’s why Indian Railways has taken a new initiative to offer an exclusive vrat menu for Maa Durga devotees.
Indian Railways Offering Vrat Menu on Trains
The Ministry of Railways notified about this new Navratri special initiative through a Twitter post. The vrat menu will be catered by IRCTC or Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and includes several dishes that people can consume while fasting in Navratri.
“During the auspicious festival of Navratri, IR brings to you a special menu to satiate your Vrat cravings, being served from 26.09.22 – 05.10.22”, reads their caption.
