Infinix Zero 8i, With Dual-Selfie Camera, Bigger Storage, Could Be Your Best Budget Smartphone

Mobile brand, Infinix, adding to its kitty of budget smartphones, has announced the arrival of its next smartphone namely Infinix Zero 8i. The smartphone, as per the company sources, will launch on December 3 and would be available for purchase on Flipkart.

Notably, Infinix Zero 8i has made its presence felt in Pakistan already with its launch there in a solo 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant; last month. Infinix Zero 8i is expected to launch with the same specification in India too.

Design & Camera

The tweaked version of Infinix Zero 8, the Infinix Zero 8i features a huge 6.85-inch full HD+ display with a dual hole-punch selfie camera for the sharpest front stills ever. The front camera has a 16MP primary lens accompanied by an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens.

On the rear, the phone homes a diamond shape quad camera set up. The setup comprises a 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, and an AI sensor. 

Under the hood

The phone runs on Android 10 with XOS 7 skin on top. For smooth scrolling and navigation through the apps, the phone entertains an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SoC processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Moreover, going with the trend, the phone has tucked the fingerprint scanner on the right side of the handset.

Battery

When it comes to battery, the phone has a 4,500mAh battery that can easily get you through the day even if you invest a lot of time on your phone. The phone also lends support for fast charging.

Price

The Infinix Zero 8i’s solo 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model that was launched in Pakistan last month costs as much as PKR 34,999. The amount in rupees would mean that the phone would cost somewhere around Rs. 16,300 in India.

Infinix Zero 8i comes in three different colour variants – Black Diamond, Green Diamond, and Silver Diamond.
