iOS 16.4 has started rolling out for iPhone users all over the globe. This new version of the world’s most secure and reliable operating system comes with a lot of new most anticipated features. Apple, through the beta updates, showed a glimpse of upcoming features to a group of special iPhone users enrolled in a beta testing program. And now the very first stable version of this update is being launched for all iPhone users. There is a gap of almost two months between the release of iPhone 16.3 and 16.4.
iOS 16.4 Update Released for iPhone Users
The iOS 16.4 update will be released for all iPhone users which will bring a lot of new innovative emojis from Unicode 15, approved in September 2022. So, iPhone users with iOS 16.4 will be able to use new emojis including Khanda, comb, shaking head, pink heart, blue heart, grey heart, donkey, moose, blackbird, goose, wing, jellyfish, hyacinth, pea pod, ginger, fan, flute, maracas and few others.
How to Install iOS 16.4 on Your iPhone?
iOS 16.4 is compatible with and can be easily installed in all iPhone models released in 2017 and later. Meaning, iOS 16.4 is released for iPhone 18 or later released models. This update will be launched as Over-the-air (OTA) update, which means the new version will be directly available to iPhone users without visiting customer care centres.

Follow these steps to learn installing iOS 16.4 on your iPhone:
- First access the settings menu on your iPhone.
- Now find and get into General settings.
- On top, select the ‘Software Update’ option.
- On the next page, you will see iPhone 16.4 available to download and install.
