As per the latest reports by Apple’s analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is mulling to launch the successor of iPhone SE – iPhone SE 2 – in the first quarter of 2020. The phone will be priced at $399 (roughly Rs. 28,200) and would run Apple A13 Bionic chip.
Moreover, as per the reports by MacRumors, under the hood, the budget variant is expected to sport 3GB RAM and come in upto 64GB and 128GB of storage. What the phone would lack is 3D touch capabilities across all colour variants – Space Grey, Silver, and Red.
The iPhone SE 2 will be launched as an upgrade to the 2015s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s and will feature a design similar to the iPhone 8. The phone will run iOS 13 and sport a Touch ID on the home button.
Apple is predicted to sell 30-40 million units of the iPhone SE 2 throughout 2020.
