IPL Auctions 2020 Auction Updates So Far: Cummins Becomes Highest Overseas Buy In IPL History, Maxwell, Morris Grab Big Bucks

Star Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell who recently took a break from the game due to mental health issues was sold for a whopping 10.75 Crores at the ongoing IPL 2020 auction.

The bid was placed by Kings XI Punjab to grab the Aussie who guided them to the final of the 2014 audition. Taking a lead ahead from Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders spent 15.5 crores of there available purse to grab Pat Cummins.

Sam Curran was grabbed by Chennai Super Kings for 5.5 crores. South African Chris Morris also grabbed big bucks as he was picked by Royal Challenger Bangalore for 10 Crores.

Stuart Binny goes unsold. New Zealand’s all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme also went unsold.

England opener Jason Roy sold to Delhi Capitals for 1.5 crores. There is a short break and the auction would resume soon at the ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata.

The auction has resumed after a short break and bidding for wicket-keepers would begin now. Aussie wicket-keeper is the first one to be sold after the break. Alex Cary goes to Delhi Capitals for 2.4 crores.

Heinrich Klaasen, Bangladesh Wicket-keeper Mushfiqur Rahim, Shai Hope, Sri Lankan Kusal Perara and Naman Ojha go unsold.

It is time for fast-bowlers after the wicket-keepers. Mohit Sharma and Dale Steyn go unsold.

Aussie fast bowler Andrew Tye who played for Kings XI Punjab last season goes unsold.

Jaydev Unadkat goes to Rajasthan Royals for 3 Crores. Nathan Coulter-Nile SOLD to Mumbai Indians for 8 Crores.

New Zealand’s Tim Southee goes unsold. Bidding going on for West Indies’s Sheldon Cottrell.

Sheldon Cottrell goes to Kings XI Punjab for 8.5 crores. Piyush Chawal sold to Chennai Super Kings for 6.75 crores. Ish Sodhi, Adam Zampa go unsold.

Hayden Walsh and Afghanistan’s Zahir Khan go unsold in the auction.

Hard hitter Deepak Hooda who last played for SRH goes to Kings XI Punjab for 50 Lakhs.

Woah another big bid for uncapped star, Tamil Nadu spinner Varun Chakravarthy goes to Kolkata Knight Riders for 4 crores. Big bucks for the leg-break bowler.

Mumbai’s talented young star Yashasvi Jaiswal goes to Rajasthan Royals for 2.40 Crores after a bidding war. All eyes were on these bid for sure. Daniel Sams, Pavan Deshpande go unsold. Shahrukh Khan also went unsold.

Uncapped wicket-keeper Anuj Rawat sold to Rajasthan Royals for 80 Lakhs. Kedar Devdhar, K.S. Bharat, Prabhsimran Singh, and Ankush Bains go unsold.

Uncapped fast bowler Akash Singh sold to Rajasthan Royals for 20 Lakhs. Vishnu Vinod, Kulwant Khejroliya, Tushar Deshpande go unsold.

Rajasthan Royals grab Kartik Tyagi for 1.50 Crores. Ishan Porel goes to Kings XI Punjab for 20 Lakhs. K.C. Cariappa and Riley Meredith go unsold.

M.Siddhartha sold for opening bid of 20 Lakhs to Kolkata Knight Riders, Midhun Sudhesan goes unsold.

Ravi Bishnoi goes to Kings XI Punjab for 2 crores. R Sai Kishore goes unsold. Afghanistan’s 14 years old Noor Ahmad goes unsold.
