Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation announced that cashback will be offered to women travelling in the Tejas Express trains operated by it. IRCTC announced the offers on the upcoming Rakshabandhan festival. The IRCTC said that women who will be travelling in the Delhi-Lucknow and Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express trains will get a cashback of 5% till 24 August.

Steps to avail IRCTC Cashback Offers

The IRCTC special cashback offer of 5% for all women passengers travelling in the Tejas Express trains will be applicable only for trips made during the given period. Women can travel multiple times during this and can avail of a discount on fare under the cashback offer.

Also, the cashback is applicable for those women who have already booked tickets in the two Tejas trains running from Delhi-Lucknow and Mumbai-Ahmedabad. However, the IRCTC has resumed the services of these trains from 07th August, after it got cancelled due to the rising cases of Covid-19 during the second wave.

The Tejas Express trains will run four days a week now. It will operate on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
