Possibility of making a contact with Chandrayaan’s 2 Lander Vikram, after its harsh descent on Moon, seems to be “less and less probable” with every passing minute, said an ISRO official. Notably, the rover inside the lander has a life of one lunar day which is equivalent to 14 days on the Earth. With 1 week already passed, ISRO, now, only has 1 week left to initiate contact. Currently, ISRO’s Tracking and Command Network has been trying to restore contact with the lander.
