He cited six guarantees concerned with healthcare and promised to implement them if the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) wins in Punjab. On his two-day visit, CM Arvind Kejriwal flanked by AAP state unit chief and MP Bhagwant Mann said “The condition in Punjab government hospitals is so bad that people are forced to go to private facilities, and there is loot in private hospitals. In government hospitals in the state, people are facing problems with regards to medicines, availability of doctors and better equipment.”

Apart from these, he added to his statement that he along with his party members have changed the shape of government hospitals in Delhi. He also promised to keep the six guarantees for the health of citizens. Every person in Punjab will be given a free test, medicines, and operations in government hospitals, which will be at par with the private facilities.
