Anyone can create a viral sensation. Me, you, anyone. Really.
But I guess, nowadays the trend is being religiously followed by the police department. After the video of UP police ‘Thain-Thain’ went viral, it seems other state police took up the challenge of creating the next sensation.
And standing up to the challenge, they backfired with a dance video.
The New cop dance video is here:
Just so you know, the trend had spread its wings all the way to Kolkata now. And that’s the place from where this latest video has emerged. The video shows lady constables from Howrah city police Commissionerate in West Bengal dancing like crazy which occurred during the event of Kali idol immersion.
The video appears to be shot at the ceremony where people gather and enjoy before the idol to celebrate the festival. The lady cops can be seen enjoying and dancing on the all-time famous dance number ‘Khaikey paan Benaras wala’ near Shibpur police headquarters. But, even though it was done in good spirits, it ended up causing trouble for ladies.

Who uploaded the viral video?
The video was uploaded by a Twitter user named ‘ Manu Kaushik’. Soon it spread like fire and started receiving mixed reactions. Some enjoyed the lively spirit of the lady cops dance and some, on the other hand, chose to relate it with irresponsibility.

The authorities, however, did not take this lightly as the constables were dressed in uniforms while dancing. They have already ordered an inquiry on them. Because they believe that the officers should have been sensible to not act this way when they were on duty. (I don’t see how it is irresponsible though, but I guess my opinion doesn’t really matter here )
