Last Date To Link Your PAN For LIC IPO

For the upcoming LIC IPO, Life Insurance Corporation of India has asked their customers to link PAN with LIC policies. The last date to do is today Feb 28, 2022. You must link your PAN to policies you hold to get the special privileges, allowed for policyholders.

Those policyholders who have not linked until now have the last day left to do so. A policyholder who does not follow this guideline will not be able to avail of the special privileges, which also includes buying LIC IPO at a discounted price. The DRPH reported by LIC to SEBI includes this rule for all the policyholders of LIC.

As per LIC DRPH, “A policyholder of our Corporation shall ensure that his / her PAN details are updated in the policy records of our Corporation at the earliest. A policyholder who has not updated his / her PAN details with our Corporation before the expiry of two weeks from the date of the filing of this Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI (i.e., by February 28, 2022) shall not be considered as an Eligible Policyholder.”
