These both assurances would also be a part of the election manifesto of the Bharatiya Janta Party which is likely to announce soon. Mr Gowda claimed that Kerala has become a hub for love jihad and the Christian community is specifically targeted in the state. The devaswom boards are the centre of CPI (M) activities.

Mr Gowda alleged that CM Pinarayi Vijayan has maintained a “dictatorial attitude” in the state. Also, he failed to uphold and maintain transparency in administration, which was a fundamental requirement in a democracy.
