Recently, captured on camera, Mamata Banerjee (chief minister of West Bengal) lost her temper on Thursday. The reason for her outbreak was protesters who were shouting ‘Jai Shri Ram,” while she was on her way to a sit-in venue.
But why is she so furious after hearing the slogans of Jai Shri Ram? Well, she was angry with this forcible implementation of political slogans on others in the name of so-called RSS. According to her BJP was using this religious slogan ‘Jai Shri Ram’ as party slogan in a ‘misinterpreted manner.’
What exactly happened?
During this incident, she was on her way to lead a sit-in protest against the alleged attacks on her Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers in Barrackpore. She blamed BJP for the attacks.
Seeing outsiders wearing BHP headbands tested her anger. She got out of her car twice when after hearing the slogans. The first time she tried to control her feeling but the second time, she loses her cool.
When asked, she said “My car was going along the way. And these people, wearing BJP headbands, moved towards my car. They are outsiders, they are not local people.”
Mamta Banerjee cleared that she has no problem with Hindi-speaking people but there are some people, who are not originally from Bengal, uses state’s resources and yet dare to insult the chief minister and spread terror.
What else happened?
After getting out of her can Banerjee shouted back at the crowds and asked policemen to identify the people spreading terror and conduct an hour-to-house search.
“Our efforts to create differences between Bengalis and non-Bengalis. That’s why our slogan is Jai Hind and not what the BJP says,” said Banerjee. All this has been captured on camera. If you haven’t Mamta losing her cool, here is the video:
This political war has already gone so far, someone has already been killed in this political violence. For Mamta Banerjee, it’s allegedly been done by the BJP workers. And for BJP, they just don’t have any real clue about it.
