Mary Kom Wins Bronze At World Women’s Championships In Russia

Six times World Boxing Champion, Mary Kom, had to settle for a Bronze at the Women’s World Championships in Russia’s Ulan-Ude after she lost to Busenaz Cakiroglu in the semi-final.

Cakiroglu, the European champion, was declared to have won the bout 4-1 which ended Kom’s run to the final. Kom now is the only boxer to have eight world medals to her name, including 6 Gold and a silver at the World Championships.
