Migrant Workers Make ‘Tik Tok’ Video In Quarantine, Got Booked By Police

Making a Tik Tok video can get an FIR was never thought off of by these migrant workers. These workers who were under quarantine to contain the COVID-19 spread thought of some time pass through the video. However, the 6 of them violated the norms doing so.

The incident has come light from Odisha. A group of 6 migrant workers shot a group dance TikTok video while undergoing quarantine. Doing so they let go of the social distancing requirement from their minds. This video of migrant workers who came from West Bengal got viral on social media.

In the video, the workers are seen singing and dancing in close proximity to one another in a room. After the circulation of video FIR under Section 51 of the Disaster Management Act, has been registered by the Bhadrak Police against the workers.

Odisha state Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had on Monday warned that strong action would be taken against persons who violate quarantine norms in the state. The CM has called sarpanches to immediately notify the administration in case of violations of any norms.
