Mohammed Siraj Crying While Singing India’s National Anthem Ahead Of 3rd Test Is The Moment Of The Day

Memories are a cruel thing for they make you recall the tough times you might have overcome to have come far enough. They make you recall the relations you had to leave behind when you didn’t want to. And something similar happened during the ongoing India vs Australia test match in Australia.

Mohammad Siraj could not hold back his tears while singing India’s National Anthem at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday. Playing only his second test, Siraj had earlier decided not to fly back to India when he lost his father back in December. And this time, the eyes couldn’t hide the pain of him not being able to see his father one last time.

Siraj got a chance to play for India against Australia after an injury to Mohammed Shami during the first Test in Adelaide. He took five wickets in two innings in the first test.

“He wished that I continue playing for India and make my country proud,” Siraj had said at the time of his father’s death. “I just want to fulfil my father’s dream.”

Siraj is part of India’s squad for the third test too. He, through his brilliance, hurried David Warner back to the pavilion.

As the Video of him crying went viral, fans came out with warm reactions:
