With the first clash of 2020 on box office kicking off with the release of Ajay Devgan’s 100th Bollywood appearance Tanhaji and Deepika’s real-life inspired Chhapaak the public reviews and first reactions are out.
While you might be wondering about Deepika’s movie which received a boycott call after her JNU visit then let me tell you that the movie has received positive first reactions from viewers and critics. Coming to Tanhaji without troubling you much here we bring you the public review of the movie. Check it out:
The movie stars Ajay Devgan in the role of Tanhaji Malsuare who was a military leader in the Maratha Empire and fought alongside Maratha King Shivaji in various battles. Saif is seen playing his opposite as Udaybhan Rathore.
Ajay’s real-life partner Kajol is essaying the character of Tanhaji’s wife Savitribai Malusare in the movie. The plot of the movie is based on the Battle of Sinhagad where Maratha captured the Kondhana fort from Mughals
The movie is praised for his visual effects which become more defined when watched in 3-D. Overall the movie has much to offer to the viewers in its 134 minutes run and looks technically sound.
Simply put Tanhaji marks a sensational century for Ajay Devgan while bringing respite for Saif Ali Khan after the Laal Kaptaan debacle last year. For Bollywood movie buffs this weekend is sorted as you have two (the other being Chhapaak ) beautifully crafted stories to watch for.
