ICC has announced the much-awaited ICC Decade Awards a day after releasing the ICC Teams of the Decade (2011-2020).
As per the result, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been conferred with both the ‘ICC Player of the Decade’ and the ‘Men’s ODI Player of the Decade’ awards.
Other competitors, from the Indian team, for the same spots were MS Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni has been awarded the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award of the Decade for his gesture of calling back England batsman Ian Bell after a run out in the Nottingham Test in 2011.
