The return of the test cricket to Pakistan after more than a decade ended in a positive note on Monday. On the back of 16-year-old Naseem Shah’s spirited bowling performance, Pakistan crushed Sri Lanka by 263 runs in the 2nd test to take the 2-match series 1-0.
Naseem Picked up 5 for 31 in his 12.5 overs sending the visitors back home on a losing note. After a rain-interrupted first test match at Rawalpindi both the teams were looking to seal the deal in Karachi. Pakistan after bundling out for 191 in 1st innings piled a mammoth 555/3 in 2nd innings on the back of tons from Shan Masood, Abid Ali, captain Azhar Ali, and Babar Azam.
Naseem who is one of the youngest to get a fiver for Pakistan is also named in Pakistan’s U-19 squad for the World Cup Next Year.
