Are you annoyed with the automatic playing of trailers of the shows while you surf ‘Netflix‘? If the answer is yes then finally this annoying element can be put on hold. Netflix has finally bought a respite to its users.
Netflix has announced that it is giving a free hand to its all its users globally to disable its autoplay previews while browsing on all the devices. The feature would be available from 7th February that is today.
However, there is a catch to it as well. As of now, you can only change this setting by signing in to your Netflix account on your web browser. The settings would not be available on the smartphone or other devices such as tab, smart TV.
There would be two formats of the disable feature. One would let you disable automatically playing the next episode of the series you are watching. While the other will let you disable autoplay previews of shows while browsing through the streaming channel.

Now, without wasting much of your time here we explain how you can activate it in both formats.
The process to enable or disable autoplay previews while browsing on all devices
- Open your web browser
- Now open Netflix and sign in
- Click on ‘Manage Profiles’ from Menu
- Select the ‘enable’ or ‘disable’ option as per choice
- Check or uncheck the option to Autoplay previews while browsing on all devices
The process to enable or disable autoplay of the next episode of the current series
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 from above
- Click on ‘Manage Profiles’ from Menu
- Select the ‘enable’ or ‘disable’ option as per choice
- Check or uncheck the option to Autoplay next episode in a series on all devices
It would take sometime before the setting comes into effect. You can force an update by switching to another profile, then switching back in order to reload your profile.
