The Railway Board announced the timetable for the second Vande Bharat Express train between Delhi and Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to start the Express train from Kashi to the national capital on December 17. The train will resume regular service on December 20.
The superfast train will travel between Delhi and Varanasi via Prayagraj six days a week, beginning on Tuesday. Two executive coaches will be on the 16-coach train, with the remaining 14 being chair carriages.
Schedule For Train No. 22516 Vande Bharat Express
The 22415 Vande Bharat Express will leave Banaras at 6 a.m. and arrive at Prayagraj Junction at 7:30 a.m. It will halt for four minutes before continuing to Delhi, where it will arrive at 2:05 p.m. Train No. 22416 Vande Bharat Express will depart Delhi at 3 p.m. and arrive in Prayagraj at 9:11 p.m. before arriving at Varanasi Junction at 11:05 p.m.
Train Stoppage Time
The new Vande Bharat Express train will stop for four minutes, which is two minutes longer than the former Vande Bharat Express train.
Stations Where The Express Train Will Stop
The train will depart from Varanasi station on December 18 and stop at six stops before arriving in New Delhi. The train will leave Varanasi at 2.15 p.m., arrive at Prayagraj Junction at 3.50 p.m., and depart at 4.05 p.m. Following that, it will stop at Kanpur from 6 pm to 6.15 pm, Etawah from 7.30 pm to 7.40 pm, Tundla from 8.35-8.45 pm, and Aligarh from 9.40-9.50 pm before arriving in New Delhi.
Schedule of Vande Bharat Express Train Departures (Varanasi to Delhi)
- The train will arrive in Prayagraj at 7.30 a.m. and depart at 7.34 a.m.
- The train will arrive in Kanpur at 9.26 a.m. and depart at 9:30 a.m.
- The train will arrive in Delhi at 2:05 a.m.
Vande Bharat Express Train Return Schedule (Delhi To Varanasi)
- The train will leave New Delhi at 3 p.m. and arrive in Kanpur at 7:08 p.m. when it will depart for Prayagraj at 7:12 p.m.
- The train will arrive in Prayagraj at 9:11 p.m. and depart at 9:15 p.m.
- The train will arrive in Varanasi at 11:05 p.m., its last destination.
