Not A Old Picture, This Is A Tightly Packed Stadium In New Zealand In ‘October 2020’

The world is locked (although it doesn’t look like it is here in India) and fighting COVID-19 with all it can. And then there is New Zealand.

Honestly, we doubt if New Zealand is even a part of the world anymore because people there seem to be living a different life. New Zealand recently scummed coronavirus to death for the second time and is celebrating the feat with people rushing to watch a rugby match and that too at a STADIUM.

This picture of New Zealand from the last weekend has gone viral on the internet. The lucky lads here got no mask on face, no social distancing and are at a packed stadium, which, I’m sure, would be serving those delicious fries.

What else one could ask from 2020?

New Zealand PM, Jacinda Ardern, had declared in June that the country was COVID-free. Bur weeks later, the PM had to implement a strict lockdown in Auckland to curb multiple cases that have had emerged. And post quarantine, the country was yet again opened without any restriction.

Surely, the compliments are pouring in for the people and the PM

Well, arguments could be that New Zealand’s population is just 48-lakh or it doesn’t share a boundary with any other country, or it’s in the limelight becasue it has a woman PM but yet, there are many more countries with similar features that have not been able to control the spread of the virus.
