NIA Recruitment 2022:The National Investigation Agency is calling out for eligible candidates to join them as an Assistant SI or Head Constable. The notification is out by the NIA seeking a total of 67 eligible candidates. Vacancy Detail

• There are a total number of 43 posts available for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector.
• And 24 posts for Head Constable.

Classification Of Posts

• Assistant Sub Inspector: “General Central Service Group ‘C’, Non- Gazetted Non-Ministerial”
• Head Constable: “General Central Service, Group ‘C’, NonGazetted, Non-Ministerial”

Post-Wise Pay Scale

• For Assistant SI: “Pay Matrix Level-S (Rs.29,200/- to 92,300) (pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay Rs 2800/-)”
• For Head Constable: “Level- in Pay Matrix (Rs 25,500 – 81,700) (pre-revised PB-l 5200-20,200 with Grade pay of Rs.24001)

Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant SI:

• The candidate should be a graduate of a recognised university.
• “Experience of at least two years in the field of
  investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or
  operations or information technology management.”

For Head Constable:

• The candidate should be a 10th pass from the university board.
• “Holding analogous post on regular basis in
  the parent cadre or department.”

Few Roles & Responsibilities

• For Assistant SI: Case investigation, part of the search & raid team, executing summon & warrant, Collecting intelligence, guarding and providing security to accused while in custody.
• For Head Constable: accompanying the investigation team, securing the crime scene, collecting intelligence, securing the crime scene, and other duties assigned by the seniors.
