The Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said that he did two things during the Covid-19 pandemic. Gadkari said that he cooked at home and started lectures through video conferences. He offered over 950 lectures online, including lectures given to scholars of foreign universities. These lectures were uploaded to YouTube. Now, the number of viewers on my online lectures has increased a lot and YouTube is giving me Rs 4-lakh as royalty every month. Known for his outspoken opinion, Gadkari said that people who do good work in India are not appreciated.

Progressive Work On These Plans Nitin Gadkari Said

The Finance Minister stressed the significance of a modern and high-quality road network for generating employment opportunities and economic growth. He said that 423km of road is being constructed in Gujarat costing Rs 35,100 crore. In addition to this, 17 interchanges, 17 flyovers, 60 major bridges, and 8 Road Over Bridges (ROBs) will be built in the state under this expressway. Apart from world-class transport facilities, we have also proposed to set up 33 centres connected with roadside facilities, etc. in order to generate employment opportunities in the state.
