
The Union Minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari said that he won’t allow driverless cars in India. Gadkari said that he is not against the technology but it’s about the jobs of drivers. He highlighted the fact that India has 40 lakh drivers and there is a shortage of 25 lakh drivers at present. I will not let the jobs of 1 crore people be snatched away, he added.
