NTA Postponed UGC NET 2021, Revised Exam Date To Be Announced Later

National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the UGC NET 2021 exams of the December 2020 notification. The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank took Twitter to share this information. He said, “The UGC NET exam has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the safety and well-being of the candidates.”

The UGC NET exam was supposed to conduct from May 2 to May 17, 2021. However, these exam dates have postponed, the fresh dates are still to update later by the NTA.

In a tweet, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said:

Previously, the UGC NET application invited interested candidates to apply for the UGC NET exam. Candidates who have applied successfully and looking for the admit card are required to wait till further notice because the NET has postponed the exam dates. However, few important details to UGC NET application 2021 are – 

Important Dates:

Application Begin: 02/02/2021

Online Exam Date: 02-17 May 2021 (Postponed)

Application Fee:

General: 1000/-

EWS / OBC: 500/-

SC / ST / PH: 250/-
