Merely three months after unveiling two phones – One Plus 7 and One Plus 7 Pro – from the ‘T’ series, OnePlus has just unveiled OnePlus 7T globally at an event in New Delhi, India. Besides OnePlus 7T, the Chinese manufacturer has also launched two variants of OnePlus TV.
Here are all the details from the event.
OnePlus 7t Design And Screen
OnePlus 7T retains the design of its predecessor with a slightly smaller notch. The smaller notch allows an increased screen-to-body ratio of 20:9. The phone will be available in two colour variants namely Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver.
The phone will sport a triple camera setup housed in a dual-tone frosted matte glass. The phone gets a Fluid AMOLED screen with a response rate of 90 Hz. In addition, a non-curved 6.55-inch display and HDR10+ support for Amazon Prime, Netflix and YouTube makes viewing sharper and clearer than ever before.
OnePlus 7T Camera
The triple camera setup comprises of a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 117-degree field-of-view. OnePlus claims that it has improved the photo-taking capabilities of OnePlus 7T. It has worked on adding specialties including an improved Nightscape and Portrait modes to the 7T.
Under The Hood
Under the hood, OnePlus 7T sports a refreshed Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ paired with 8GB RAM and upto 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The phone also gets a Warp Charge 30T technology, which OnePlus claims is 23 percent faster than the OnePlus 7 Pro’s charging technology.
OnePlus 7T will be the first phone to come with Android 10 installed.
Besides OnePlus 7T, OnePlus also announced OnePlus TV. The OnePlus TV will be available in a standard variant and a pro variant. The 55-inch wide TVs sport a QLED display with a 95.7% screen to body ratio with Gamma Color Magic processor that offers industry-leading colour reproduction.
The sliding soundbar with 8 speakers and a forward transmission system of OnePlus 7T helps sound come directly at you. Its futuristic-looking TV remote wrapped in an aluminum body supports Type C charging and has a dedicated button for launching the Google Assistant.
The TV runs a custom Android that OnePlus says will get software updates for at least three years. OnePlus Connect specialties showcased at OnePlus event will let you control your TV actions via your smartphone.
The OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro (with soundbar) have been priced at Rs. 69,900 and Rs. 99,900, respectively. The OnePlus 7T will cost you Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB/128GB model while the 8GB/256GB variant will cost you Rs. 39,999.
All products will be available from September 28.
