Ever since OnePlus revealed its plan to enter the TV market last year, fans have been holding on to their breath to behold what it would entail. And looks like the moment of truth is finally here. The company’s CEO, Pete Lau, recently confirmed the name of the OnePlus’s maiden TV, upping our hopes for a possible September launch.
The idea was to not launch OnePlus TV until its ‘perfect’ by OnePlus standards. And with the reputations that OnePlus enjoys in the market, such promises seem necessary. Meanwhile, if wondering what the ‘perfect’ features would the TV come with, here are some sneak peeks that we have garnered from various sources that will help you with the information.
4 Screen Sizes
As per major leaks, OnePlus TVs will come in 4 different screen sizes targeting specific markets across the globe. The standard 55 inches TV is expected to be available across all markets while the 75-inch model is being harnessed for the US and China markets. Keeping in mind the love OnePlus gets in India, an exclusive 43-inch TV can be expected. Moreover, OnePlus is aiming at the premium Smart TV segment instead of going for the budget segment.
A Unique Android TV
If reports are anything to go by, OnePlus is supposedly mulling unique Android-based software to power the OnePlus TV that would provide a smart and connected home environment. At this stage, we expect the TV to stream media, wirelessly sync with smartphones and suggest content using artificial intelligence.

Price And Availability
Although not confirmed, reports suggest that both OnePlus TV and the OnePlus 7T may share the same launch stage. Or maybe not. With OnePlus TV being a completely new product, the company can rethink to launch their newly brewed TV on the festive season in India that is going to be in October.
As far as availability is concerned, The OnePlus TV will be sold through the Amazon India website. The TV will also be available at various offline stores run by OnePlus. With the premium tag intact, the TV could range somewhere between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000.
