The nominees for various categories for the 92nd Academy Award have been announced. The list though has already raised a few eyebrows (because many great performances were, once again, overlooked by the Academy) but that is a different story altogether.
The nominations were announced in Los Angeles by actors John Cho and Issa Rae. India’s Oscar entry for the year, the Zoya Akhtar-directed Gully Boy, failed to make the shortlist of 10 last month.
Meanwhile, here is the list of all the nominees across categories that would battel for the Oscars at the gala event in Los Angles on February 9 (Feb 10 in India).
