Out Of The World’s 15 Hottest Places Currently, 10 Are In India

Summer days are here and the wrath of the same was at its peak on May 26 when the temperature in the countyr was at a record high. The scorching sun continued to punish parts of northwest and central India as the mercury soared up to register seasonal maximums on Tuesday. 

The temperature in the Capital on Tuesday stood at 47.2 degrees celsius, which is decade’s highest.

Moreover, now 10 out of the 15 hottest places in the world are in India and the remaining 5 are in Pakistan. Churu, also known as the gateway to the Thar Desert recorded the country’s highest temperature of 50-degree Celsius on Tuesday.

The same was matched by Jacobabad in Pakistan, which was the hottest place on Earth on Tuesday.

Rajasthan’s Bikaner, Ganganagar and Pilani are among the 15 hottest places in the world right now as per El Dorado Weather portal followed by two cities from Uttar Pradesh and two from Maharashtra.

The others in the list of hottest cities were New Delhi at 47.6 degrees Celsius, Bikaner at 47.4 degrees Celsius, Ganganagar at 47 degrees Celsius, Jhansi at 47 degrees Celsius, Pilani at 46.9 degrees Celsius, Nagpur Sonegaon at 46.8 degrees Celsius and Akola 46.5 degrees Celsius—both in Maharashtra.

Churu recorded the second-highest temperature in May in the last 10 years. Earlier in 2016, it had recorded a temperature of 50.2-degree Celcius.
