Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the nation will invite former PM Manmohan Singh to inaugurate the Kartarpur Corridor on the occasion 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak. “The Kartarpur corridor inauguration is a big programme and Pakistan is preparing for it in a big way. We have decided to invite India’s former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to grace the event,” said Qureshi adding that they will send a “send a formal letter to him soon”.
Kartarpur Corridor is an under-construction border corridor between India and Pakistan connecting the Sikh shrines of Dera Baba Nanak Sahib and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur.
