He added to his statement that “I think Rishabh Pant will be the X-factor for DC. Because if he wasn’t in his best of form last season, this year the way he has batted for India, I think he carries a lot of confidence with him and that’s what you want when you are playing a T20 game. You don’t want any doubts in your mind and especially a player like Rishabh Pant. So, I think Rishabh Pant will be probably holding the key for Delhi Capitals.”

Parthiv Patel, who have played 12 IPL seasons with for top teams like 5 times champion Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings,  and Royal Challengers Bangalore also shed light on the way Pant has batted in the last few series and he is slowly registering the name for himself in the best Indian players.

Parthiv Patel also said that Pant was compared with MS Dhoni and he also tried to do that, but Pant is himself is a brilliant player. He should not have to worry about being like MS Dhoni. He can be better than MS Dhoni and he can win matches on his own just like we have seen against Australia and England”
