Paytm has recently made UPI Lite available to iPhone users. Vijay Shekhar Sharma, CEO and Founder of Paytm has announced that Paytm Payments Bank is the first to launch UPI Lite for iOS. Along with this, the bank introduced new services such as RuPay Credit Card on UPI, Split Bill, pinning favourite contacts and chatting with pals, setting alternate UPI IDs with the Paytm app to disguise mobile numbers, and more.
Paytm UPI Lite is now available on iOS
Paytm Payments Bank just launched UPI compatibility, allowing customers to send money using UPI. Just use the Paytm app to send money quickly to any mobile number with a registered UPI ID across platforms. According to the business, UPI Lite is a speedier manner of transaction that will also perform effectively during peak transaction hours. This UPI Lite capability is now also accessible to iOS users.
RuPay Credit Card on UPI
With RuPay Credit Card on UPI, customers may link their RuPay credit card to a UPI ID on the Paytm app. Users may then pay by scanning the UPI-enabled QR code using the Paytm app, removing the need to carry cards with them at all times. Users do not need to wait for OTP SMS; they may just pay using their UPI PIN.
Users with a RuPay credit card may easily make payments over UPI and receive reward points. They may also pin their favourite contacts or engage in chat sessions with pals on the Paytm app. The application now has a Split Bill function, which allows users to join buddy groups and distribute spending among the members. Furthermore, Paytm customers may categorise their transactions and easily retrieve all payments made under a given category whenever they want.
