The Kashmir valley has been marred by the terrorist activities of Pakistan where there is always a confrontation with Indian armed forces. However, in this talk of terrorists, terrorism, and their elimination, the civilians face the burnt and scars. Today’s attack on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Sopore town is an example of that.
As terrorists opened fire on a CRPF’s patrol team a CRPF jawan and a civilian were killed. The police said that the terrorists hiding in a mosque fired indiscriminately at the patrol team as it was getting off a bus. The CRPF troops retaliated but the terrorists managed to escape. Miraculously the 3 years old grandson of the civilian died in the attack survived. The picture of this little kid named lying by his grandfather’s dead body is something that would pierce through your heart.
The heart-wrenching image of the child seen sitting on the blood-splattered body of his grandfather are going on viral on social media since the aftermath of the attack. Netizens are filled with pain and there is also a realization about how civilian life is under seize due to the terrorist activities in the valley.

The Jammu and Kashmir police rescued a three-year-old boy and sent him back to the mother. As per reports by NDTV, the child was traveling in a Maruti car with his grandfather from Srinagar to Handwara when it was hit by a spray of bullets in Sopore town. As the bullet hits the car the grandfather stopped the car and got out to run to a safe spot getting killed by the bullet in the process.
