Who Gets the Benefit of PM Kisan Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a central government initiative, is providing economic empowerment to numerous farmers across the country. Participating farmers receive an annual support payment of Rs 6,000 through three instalments of Rs 2,000 each, which are directly credited to their bank accounts every three months. This financial assistance enables farmers to meet personal expenses and invest in agricultural inputs. The anticipated timeframe for the 14th instalment falls between April 2023 and July 2023, with a tentative date set for the third week of May 2023.
All farmer families who own land in the country are eligible for income support through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), a nationwide federal program designed to meet their additional financial requirements. The thirteenth instalment of this program was released by the government on February 26, 2023, and the payment is distributed to the recipients in three instalments throughout the year.
