PM Modi Says ‘No’ To Holi Milan This Time Due To This Reason

As the festival of colors ‘Holi’ is just around the corner, the preparations for celebrations are on full-swing across the country. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would not be a part of celebrations this time.

The PM on Wednesday tweeted that he would not participate in any ‘Holi Milan’ event. The reason for this is the outbreak of novel coronavirus aka COVID-19. In his tweet, the PM said that experts across the world have advised to avoid public gatherings to prevent coronavirus.

The PM tweeted, “Experts across the world have advised to reduce mass gatherings to avoid the spread of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. Hence, this year I have decided not to participate in any Holi Milan programme”. After PM’s tweet, ‘Holi Milan’ was trending on twitter.
